Choosing our charity of the year

Each year we ask colleagues across the business to nominate a charity that they’d like to support. We compile a shortlist from the suggestions and then ask everyone to vote for one charity from that final list.

In the past couple of years we’ve voted for charities that have had a close personal connection to staff within Access. Last year our nominated charity was DEBRA who supported Simon Talbot and his wife Karen when they lost their baby boy Dylan to Epidermolysis Bullosa (EB).

This year we’re supporting the National Deaf Children’s Society who were a lifeline to Adam Freeman and Kayleigh Simms when they found out that their son Henry, aged one day old, was profoundly deaf. We know that the close personal connection to theses causes gets us all motivated to fundraise across the business and we need your help again to smash our target for fundraising this year!
